Introducing the Philadelphia Out of School Time Coalition (POSTC)! We are Philadelphia’s first local coalition of Out-of-School Time program providers brought together to advocate with one voice! Our mission is to promote sustainable, high quality OST and youth development programs that meet the needs of youth and families across Philadelphia.

ASIAN ARTS INITIATIVE

Connecting cultural expression and social change, Asian Arts Initiative uses art as a vehicle to explore the diverse experiences of all communities which include Asian Americans.


Located in Philadelphia’s Chinatown North, Asian Arts Initiative is a multidisciplinary arts center offering exhibitions, performances, artist residencies, youth workshops, and a community gathering space. Here, all of us can view and create art that reflects our lives, and think critically, creatively about the future we want to build for our communities.


CORA

Since 1971, CORA Services has been helping children and families in and around the Philadelphia region. Today our staff impact the lives of more than 20,000 children, youth and families every year, guided by the tagline “Children are the Heart of the Matter.”

CORA Services provides school-based academic support, counseling, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language services, psychological services, truancy services, and behavior assessment and case management.


EDUCATION WORKS EducationWorks is a nonprofit organization that provides academic support, career readiness, and enrichment programming throughout Greater Philadelphia. By focusing on topics like literacy, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM), and social emotional learning, they are equipping approximately 12,000 students annually with the tools needed to be successful in school and life.


NORRIS SQUARE NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECT

The Norris Square Neighborhood Project (formerly Norris Square Civic Association) is a community development corporation founded in 1983 by a group of community women who desired to take control of their neighborhood and provide a healthy and safe environment for their children.

The mission of NSCA is to empower residents to become self-reliant and to unite and build the community by developing and improving the physical, economic, social, cultural and educational aspects of the neighborhood.



YOUNG ACHIEVERS LEARNING CENTER

Young Achievers collaborates with the Department of Human Services (DHS) and is an Out of School Time (OST) Project that has developed into a high-performing youth serving organization, successfully operating developmentally appropriate Before/After School & Summer Programming for youth grades K-8, in the City of Philadelphia for more than 20 years.


SUNRISE OF PHILADELPHIA Founded in 1999, Sunrise is a community based Out-of-School Time (OST) and family resource provider serving families across the district of Philadelphia and specifically in the South and West Philadelphia Communities. For more than 22 years, Sunrise has been providing high value out-of-school time and academic enrichment programming to Philadelphia families across the district in the form of free and accessible after school programs and summer camps!


TO OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE WITH HEALTH, INC.

To Our Children’s Future With Health, Inc. (TOCFWH) is a community-based, non-profit agency established in 1992. They primarily target the Haddington/Overbrook section of West Philadelphia (19131, 19139, 19151 zip codes), and the Nicetown-Tioga section of North Philadelphia (19140 zip code). Their mission is to empower youth, adults, and communities toward healthy living by providing comprehensive community health and education services.
